De-aerator tanks run at high temperatures and are frequently inspected and tested for structural defects. As the weld seams must stay accessible in most cases a thin high heat and chemical resistant lining is the best option. We have used “Apexior” for almost a decade with great success. This lining was developed for steam generating equipment, for use in hot water over 200F. Mechanical cleaning or Sandblasting the surface and applying “Apexior” every several years or as needed.
