Polyurethane injection is designed to stop leaks in existing cracks in concrete and fill prefabricated tubing. Contact with water causes the material to expand and swell between 40 & 100 percent. CSA & NSF International are organizations which focus on public health and safety certifying thousands of product yearly. ANSI’s (American National Standards Institute) accreditation to these companies ensures proper standards are being followed under the ANSI 61 Drinking Water Systems Components. It is recommended that components, which come in contact with drinking water, be tested for health effects by an ANSI credited organization.
